Immigration Psychological Evaluations
A psychological evaluation is usually sought for immigration purposes in cases where individuals are seeking to waiver from citizenship exam due to learning disabilities, illiteracy, significant impairments in memory, dementia, and head injuries. These conditions may prevent an individual from passing citizenship examinations. In addition, a psychological evaluation can be utilized in cases of political asylum, extreme hardship, or spousal abuse cases when psychological factors may be significant.
